~ The Pinnacles Desert. Hide and seek ~
The Pinnacles Desert of Nambung National Park is one of the major natural attractions in the region and is Western Australia's most visited attraction.
The Pinnacles are amazing for their natural limestone structures, they formed about 25,000 to 30,000 years ago after the sea receded and left deposits of seashells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand and left the pillars exposed to the elements.
I painted my little Dim Bao playing hide and seek with me in this unique yet beautiful desert, We found out there was a sand goanna climbing just in front of us!
