Taro Soufflé Mountain

A dreamy little mountain floating somewhere between sweetness and imagination. 💜☁️✨

Taro Soufflé Mountain is a whimsical watercolor and ink illustration from the Pastry Mountain Series — a collection of six dessert landscapes featuring beloved Australian animals on sweet little adventures.

In this dreamy purple scene, a soft taro soufflé rises like a floating cloud cake in the sky. A peaceful koala rests above, while a wombat, echidnas and a playful platypus explore the gentle swirls of lavender cream below.

A tiny ladder leads upwards, inviting each little traveller to keep climbing and continue their sweet journey.

Unlike the golden warmth of Croissant Mountain or the earthy calm of Canelé Mountain, Taro Soufflé Mountain has a light and magical feeling — like floating through a soft pastel dream.

The gentle purple tones represent imagination and quiet courage. Sometimes the path ahead may feel uncertain or a little dreamlike, but we can still keep moving forward together — slowly, playfully and with trust. 💜

Display it on its own or alongside the other artworks from the Pastry Mountain Series to create a dreamy, storybook world in your space.

May this little mountain bring softness, imagination and a touch of magic into your home.
