Bring a little wonder from a faraway land into your home. ✨🌿

This handcrafted ceramic coaster features my original watercolour and ink illustration inspired by the magical Avenue of the Baobabs in Madagascar — one of the world's most extraordinary natural landscapes.

Reimagined through a dreamy palette of soft pinks, golden oranges, and gentle pastel hues, these magnificent trees stand tall beneath a glowing sky, creating a scene that feels almost like stepping into a fairytale. With their distinctive bottle-shaped trunks and graceful, umbrella-like crowns, the baobabs seem to hold ancient stories, quietly watching over the land as the world awakens or settles into the evening.

Each coaster comes beautifully packaged in a kraft gift box, making it a lovely little piece of art to keep for yourself or share with someone who loves nature, travel, and the beauty of our wonderful world. 🧡

🎨 The Artwork – “The Avenue of Baobab Trees, Madagascar”

Inspired by Madagascar's famous Avenue of the Baobabs, this illustration reimagines the iconic landscape through a whimsical, dreamlike lens.

Using delicate watercolour washes and expressive ink details, the towering baobabs become soft pink giants crowned with golden-orange foliage. Their remarkable silhouettes rise against a dreamy pastel sky, glowing with the gentle light of dawn or dusk.

There is something truly captivating about these ancient trees. Their unusual shapes and quiet grandeur seem to belong to another world, inviting us to imagine the stories they have witnessed over countless generations. Surrounded by the stillness of the landscape, they stand like silent guardians of nature's timeless beauty.

The soft colours bring a sense of calm and wonder to this extraordinary scene, reminding us that the world is full of places that feel almost too magical to be real.

To me, this artwork is an invitation to pause, dream, and explore — even when we're simply sitting at home with a warm drink in hand. 🌅
