Ceramic Coaster – To See the World | Inspired by NSW Art Gallery

A little window into a world of wonder, colour, and beautiful possibilities. ✨

This handcrafted ceramic coaster features my original watercolour and ink illustration inspired by the colourful window wall at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney. Each window opens to an imagined world of its own, inviting you to dream about the beautiful places waiting to be discovered beyond the glass.

With ocean views, blooming trees, dancing light, and playful skies, this artwork celebrates the magic of seeing the world with curious eyes and an open heart. At the bottom of the scene, my little red-hat girl and Komachibao stand side by side, dreaming of distant lands and all the adventures they might share. 🌿🧡

Each coaster comes beautifully packaged in a kraft gift box, making it a lovely little piece of art to keep for yourself or share with someone special.

🎨 The Artwork – “To See the World”

Inspired by a colourful window wall at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney, this illustration is a little journey into the world of imagination.

I began wondering what might lie beyond each window. Perhaps there are endless ocean views, trees covered in blossoms, skies filled with playful colours, or quiet places where sunlight dances across the landscape. Each pane became a small invitation to imagine somewhere new, somewhere beautiful, somewhere waiting to be explored.

At the bottom of the scene, my little red-hat girl and Komachibao stand together, sharing a dream:

“I want to embark on a journey with you, see beautiful scenery together, and experience life alongside you. I want to see the world with you.”

To me, this artwork is a quiet wish for shared adventures and treasured memories. It's about finding someone to walk beside, discovering beautiful places together, and appreciating the little wonders we might otherwise overlook.

Sometimes, the world begins with something as simple as looking out a window and wondering what lies beyond. May this little piece of art remind you to stay curious, keep dreaming, and leave room for new possibilities. 🌏💛
