The Valley of the Winds – Kata Tjuta 🌄🌿

A beautiful journey through the red heart of Australia with my little friend, DimBao. ❤️

There was a time when I travelled with DimBao and enjoyed a wonderful long walk through this incredible landscape. It was an adventure filled with beautiful scenery, quiet moments and the feeling of being surrounded by something much bigger than ourselves.

The Valley of the Winds is part of Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, in the Northern Territory. The soaring red-rock domes create an extraordinary landscape, especially when the warm sunlight touches the rocks around sunrise and sunset.

I was fascinated by the natural shapes of the rocks and the way the landscape changes as you walk through it. It is one of those places that makes you stop, look around and appreciate the incredible beauty of nature.

For me, travelling with DimBao is always about more than reaching a destination. It is about the journey, the little discoveries and the memories we create along the way. 🌿✨

Originally illustrated with watercolor and ink.

Printed in the Enjoy Illustration Art Studio on archival matte art paper using archival pigment inks. Each print is carefully packaged in a protective sleeve with thick cardboard and shipped in a rigid envelope to help prevent bending.
